Isabel was born in the Australian mainland in Melbourne. Isabel's father is Australian, and her mother Swiss. Her family is from Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a tiny mining community located in the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia as well as Jabiru in Switzerland. Together with her sister Nina her schooling was in schools in which First Nations and other children from different backgrounds were accepted. Isabel resides in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel wrapped Sons of Summer recently and is in the process of pre-production along alongside Annika who is a writer and director. Annika has received numerous awards. Isabel is a keen animal rights supporter and has volunteered with many environmental organisations. Since 2010, she has been the PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival. Isabel was chosen to be the face of several campaigns and became brand ambassador because she is dedicated to eco-friendly, ethical questions and social justice.
